About Grahm's Guide

I’m Grahm.  I love movies.  I love history. I love travel.  And, I love finding information that nobody else can find.
A few years ago, my friend Brad asked me to track down the filming locations for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.  Finding those locations turned out to be remarkably easy, thanks to the terrific site,  texaschainsawmassacre.net, but when my friend asked about other filming locations, I became hooked on the challenge of tracking down the obscure locations that aren’t found anywhere else on the Internet.
Now, I'm sharing it with you to encourage you to explore cultural and historical sites near you.
     Safe Travels!

In many ways, this site is a tribute to my buddy Brad, whom I’ve known for almost as long as I can remember.  He’s introduced me to the Twin Peaks TV series, the writings of Joe R. Lansdale, Preacher by Garth Ennis, and so many other books and films, and I am deeply indebted to him for that.
Now, his hobby of tracking down filming locations has become my hobby, too.  I think the jury might still be out on whether I should thank him for that.

This site would not exist without my beautiful girlfriend, Laura.  It's her love and support that enables me to enjoy traveling to so many historical sites and filming locations.
She's also a seasoned traveler who teaches me some of the tips that she's learned in her journeys.  And, occasionally, she even drives around with me and Brad as we visit filming locations, and she wonders what she’s done to deserve this.
